I believe we all have innate mental health. That we are born with joy at our core.
I believe we live in a society that is ALL about the pressure and the fear and the risk. We see it every day, through the media, through the focus on what needs to improve, through the way we worry about our children's futures.
We cling on to the negative - always worrying what MIGHT happen.
We take very little time to listen to our inner wisdom, because others know best, right? As soon as a thought comes to us, we instantly add a layer of fear to it. We cling onto thoughts that create emotions that we don’t like. That are 'bad'.
We focus on how awful everything is for us, rather than the wholeness of ALL human beings. We believe that we need fixing. That our kids need fixing. That society is seriously broken. That there is something wrong with us all, at our core
When, actually, none of us are broken. We are not faulty. We don’t need to be sent back.
We don’t need to DO anything to make us better. We don't need to take our bad thoughts and replace them with good thoughts. We don't need to TRY and be positive.
There are no changes we need to make.
We can just uncover our Joy Default. Because it's already there. We can just let go of everything around us. There's no battle.
